A tourist train called Stinsen Sightseeing will be a new feature in Gothenburg this summer. The first trip will run on the 30 April.
The train will connect the new Gothenburg Wheel and the East Indiaman in its new position with the more traditional sights like Feskekörka. The train departs from the square Gustaf Adolfs Torg and travels through different parts of the city, past historic buildings and interesting sights, such as the old-fashioned old-fashioned stores and workshops Kronhusbodarna, Lilla Bommen Guest Harbour, Gothenburg Opera House, the Gothenburg Ferris Wheel, the maritime museum Maritiman, Casino Cosmopol, the East Indiaman Götheborg, the indoor fish market Feskekôrka, Magasinsgatan and the East India House.
Along the way, travellers are given advice on shopping, good restaurants and other useful information about their stay in the city.
The trip lasts about 35 minutes with commentaries in Swedish and English on all trains. Commentaries in German will also be available, as will hop on/off-alternatives with stops by the Gothenburg Opera House and Feskekôrka. The trains are brand new, and fitted with rain covers.
