Witness the European Oyster Opening Championship 2011

Once a year chefs from across Europe battle it out to be crowned the fastest oyster opener at these championships, held in Trollhättan, West Sweden on 5 March - an hour’s drive from the vibrant city of Gothenburg.

Starting 4 March, a two-night stay at Gothenburg based Ibis City hotel is 880 SEK (£85) pp (two sharing a double room), including breakfast and Gothenburg Passes with free entrance to top city attractions and free public transport.
