Passengerboat M/S Storholmen, canal boat
Journey by canalboat and train along the wonderful Dalslands canal with the unique aqueduct in Håverud. Experience a trip on beautiful winding watercourses and through exciting locks on our vintage boat. Storholmen is built 1896 and have been sailing on the canal for over 70 years.The trip lasts 3 or 5 hours depending which route you choose. We pass 11 or 16 locks between Bengsfors-Håverud or the other way round. During the journey enjoy good home made food end refreshments. We are fully licensed.

If you buy the good-value return ticket "RUNDTUREN" (the long canaltrip),travel in comfort from Håverud to Bengtsfors or the other way round, and return by train.
For those who do not wish to make the whole canal voyage, we have created "KANALRUNDAN"(the canal trip) travel in comfort from Håverud to Långbron (in Dals- Långed) or the other way round and return by train. We also have "LILLA KANALRUNDAN" (the short canal trip) by train from Bengtsfors to Långbron and return by boat 2.02 pm. Evening trips and special journeys for companies, associations and other groups can be arranged to order, you can also charter the whole boat, the train or a combination of the both. During the guided canaltour we will cross the unique aqueduct in Håverud, unspoiled nature, modern societies and old mill and country houses houses.

Rent Storholmen for 50-100 persons corporate hospitality, business meetings, anniversaries, weddings, club meetings.
We do a lot of group tours and corporate events and offer other tours in the lake system. Call or mail for a quote. We can help you with a contact for accommodation facilities and other activities for groups in Dalsland.
Restaurant with good home cooked food, 50 seats.
We are fully licensed.
Free parking near the boat. If you of some reason need to be driven to the car park we organize that.

We also have "LILLA KANALRUNDAN" (the short canal trip 1,5 hrs) by train from Bengtsfors to Långbron and return by boat 2.02 pm. SEK 210. You can also start with the boat and return by train on the short canal trip you by your ticket aboard.
