Centrally situated in Bengtsfors, adjacent to Dalsland's Canal is our charming Hotel Hemgården. Within walking distance you'll find Gammelgården and Halmens hus (The House of Straw) which make exiting sightseeing for the whole family. There, at the local Heritage Museum you can see how people lived in the old days and be surprised about how many things you can make of straw.

At Hemgården you can rent the necessary equipment for exiting day trips into the wilderness. According to your wishes we can arrange individual package trips with canoes, large canoes for minimum 8 people, railway inspection trolleys, bicycle trips and walking tours - we guarantee something for everyone.
