Fish for large rainbow trout in your own forest lake

The fishing

This small forest lake holds plenty of rainbow trout, weighing from 1 kilo up to 8 kilos! It's anything but crowded. The only people fishing in the lake are you and your party. You decide whether to fish from land or from a float tube, and whether to use a spinning rod or a fly fishing rod. If you don't bring your own equipment, you can borrow everything you need on site.

If you've never tried fishing from a float tube, this is your chance! We have complete sets, which include float tube, waders, and fins! Everyone who tries this type of fishing falls in love with the way you can sit comfortably in your float tube and still get really close to the fish.

Safe and comfortable!

After only 15 minutes by car from Bengtsfors, we reach the forest lake via a 50-metre walk. Only 5 metres from the shore is a small cabin, where you can store your equipment and clothing. Should we be surprised by bad weather, the cabin offers both shelter and warmth. We usually stay outside the cabin, on a small veranda.

If you prefer fishing from land, there are a number of good fishing sites within a comfortable distance. If you fish from the float tube, you move around yourself whilst fishing. Your Fishing Guide has access to a small boat, just in case somebody needs help in their float tube. This is also an obvious safety measure. Apart from the cabin, there is also a simple outside toilet.

Light BBQ lunch, coffee + snack are also included.

Seasons

You could say that it is always the fishing season here! Whenever there is open water, we spin or fly fish. When there is ice, we offer amazing ice-fishing! (See separate product) Our small forest lake is in a sheltered location, which means you can fish here whatever the weather.
