If you’d like to enjoy the canal from a boat deck, try the M/S Bellevue, M/S Sandön or M/S Ceres, which traffic the canal between Sjötorp, Töreboda and Karlsborg. Dinner is served on board.

Without a doubt, our focus is on the classic and monumental construction, Göta Canal. There are several ways to explore this beautiful waterway. According to personal preference, you may use a boat of your own, join a cruise, bicycle or tread the old towpath right along the canal.

Here you can read about arranged trolling fishing trips in Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern. Sportfiske Tiveden is a region of eight lakes on the same fishing card, where game fish are regularly planted out. The area is beautiful and well cared for, with jetties, wind shelters and grill pits.

The Karlsborg Fortress and its Adventure Tour are an experience you’ll never forget. An introductory film sets the scene and takes you back to 1865. To the sound of thundering cannons and rifles, you wind through narrow passages.
