Bicycle along the Göta Canal
Spend a day riding a bike along the Göta Canal. Sjötorp has a giant bike-rental shop with adult and kids’ bikes, bike trailers and bags.
And bike repairs if anything goes wrong!

Hire a bike for a day trip to the Norrkvarn locks an mini-canal. Perfect for families with children. The Sjötorp - Norrkvarn return trip involves a 19 km car-free route.
After 9 km you reache the area around the Norrkvarn locks. This world of adventure offers a lot of amusement and entertaining. Restaurant and café on the pier, the canal in miniature, summer theatre and entertainment.
You return to Sjötorp when ever you like and get to experience the canal from the opposite view.
Free bicycle service included if needed.

Sjötorp is located 20 kilometres north of Mariestad, by Lake Vänern and Göta Canal, along Road R26.
By coach: Travel by coach to Jönköping, Skövde, Mariestad or Karlstad, from there on Swebus Express, service 839 to Sjötorp.
By train: Travel by train to Jönköping, Skövde, Mariestad or Karlstad, and from there on Swebus Express, service 839 to Sjötorp.
There is also a bus from Mariestad, Västtrafik service no 502.
