The adventure tour at the fortress is like nothing else – more like an action film than a regular guided tour.
The guided tour begins with a film about life at the fortress in the mid-10th century. Suddenly viewers are drawn into the exciting film and led through dark vaults and twisting passageways into the old fortress on a guided tour with plenty of adventure ande special effects.
The moat caponniere has an interesting exhibit with authentic environments from the 1860s. See the commander’s home, with a cannon inthe parlour, the secret restaurant and the vault of the Natinal Bank, filled with hundreds of gold bars.
You can also have a closer look at the commander’s office, Bulta-Majas restaurant, and part of the armourt.
The adventure tour at the Karlsborg Fortress lasts about an hour and fortyfive minutes.
