Viking ship Sigrid Storråda
This Viking ship is a replica of the Norwegian
Gokstad ship from the 900s. According to legend, Sigrid Storråda was a rich and powerful woman and mother to Olof Skötkonung. The ship is 24m long
and decorated with a gilt dragon head designed by Martin Hansson of Husaby.

unesco. Being a biosphere reserve is an exciting
process where collaboration around sustainable
developement issues with local paricipation is key.
The process creates a valuable collective view of
the natural and cultural values in the landscape.
