Bathing spots with variety

Seek out your own pool deep in the forest, or enjoy bathing along expansive sandy beaches with a feel of the ocean. Whichever you prefer, you’re sure to find the perfect spot in Mark.

Kaskad Baths

Take the family along and enjoy a day at Kaskad Baths in Skene. The youngsters can have fun on the water slide and flow channel, while for those who want to take it easy there’s a bubble pool and sauna. Or you can even swim lengths in the exercise pool...

Cycling in ever-changing countryside

Cycling along meandering country lanes is a perfect way to get close to nature. There’s an abundance of quiet roads here, taking you through a varying landscape. Choose one of the tours described in the tourist office’s cycling brochure, or equip yourself with a good map and explore Mark for yourself.

Hiking

You’ll find plenty of picturesque hiking tracks of various lengths. Hyssnaleden is a track that offers a variety of breathtaking views. Viskastigen and Kurirleden are two other interesting tracks, they have both historical links.

Fishing

With 300 lakes, big and small, in the deep forests of Mark, there are plenty of opportunities for great fishing and you are almost guaranteed not to be disturbed!
