Lobster Fishing
Did you know that almost 50% of all Swedish lobsters come from Grebbestad in the county of Bohuslän?
The lobster fishing begins on the first Monday after the 20th September, when many residents of Grebbestad go out in their boats to put out their first lobster pots for the season. During the lobster fishing period, you're welcome to join us on a fishing trip to try your luck at catching the black gold of the ocean – Lobster.
Lobster Safari
A Lobster Safari begins with us meeting in the boathouse, where we go through the health & safety regulations and put on warm, comfortable flotation suits. We're now ready to board MS TUFFA, and have a fishing trip of about 2.5 hours to look forward to! During the fishing trip you get to try seaweed crisp-bread from Grebbestad, with horseradish cheese, warming coffee and drinks.
If you stay on in Grebbestad after the fishing trip, you may want to take the opportunity to enjoy our Lobster Supper, which is served at 19:00 in the boathouse. Also available is a small oyster tasting, for anyone who would like to try this famous delicacy.

September 26 - December 4
From road E6, take road 163 towards Grebbestad. By Grebbestad Church, turn right towards Havstenssund, then left towards Grönemad. Continue all the way down to the sea, until you reach the big yellow boathouse on the right hand side.
