Welcome to Strömstad and the Koster Islands. This is where you'll find the saltiest water on the Swedish west coast, and the inviting grey granite cliffs. Strömstad town is known for its amazing archipelago, seafood restaurants, great shopping and interesting sights such as Blomsholm, the old town center Bukten and the Svinesund Bridges. By using Strömstad as a base you can enjoy northern Bohuslän all year round.

Kosterhavet Visitor Center
Kosterhavet is Sweden's first, and only, marine national park. The sea around the Koster Islands is the most species-rich ocean area in Sweden by far. Welcome to the Kosterhavet Visitor Centre - Ekenäs, South Koster.

Koster is a well-established and popular turist destination offering great bathing oppertunities and hiking in an unique natur. During summer one can enjoy a varity of events and activities such as music and trips to the seal colonies. Ferry departues daily to Koster from Strömstad.
