Hotels
There are three hotels in the centre of Strömstad, one on Sydkoster and a motel next to Nordby Shopping Centre. The high quality in combination with the closeness to the unique natural landscape of Strömstad and the surrounding area attract many guests and visitors. Book early – Strömstad is a popular destination.
Youth hostels and B&B
Many visitors choose to stay at one of the youth hostels, an alternative which is both comfortable and good value for money. The youth hostels have shared areas for socialising and cooking. This type of accommodation often leads to meetings with new people and the opportunity to socialise for those who wish to.
Camping
Strömstad has a great and varied range of camp sites to choose from. Both nature camping and large camp sites are available. Choose according to how much service you require and how close to nature you want to be. Several of the camp sites offer exciting activities.

The ocean outside Strömstad contains a large number of islands, with cliffs, sandy beaches and fishing harbours. If you prefer a natural harbour, the archipelago offers plenty of sheltered bays and good places to anchor.
