The history of Ulricehamn is filled with tradition - tradition of health and well-being. Two open-air swimming baths have come and gone due to wear. The old health resort hotel which also kept the cultural phenomenon alive was torn down. Maybe that is why the tradition of bathing in the lake lay dormant for half a century.
Today the new open-air swimming-bath adds a great deal to the quality of live in Ulricehamn. It’s a way to increase the comfort and the value of living in and visiting Ulricehamn. We have a unique history and a unique location. Now we have a unique open-air swimming-bath!

Kallbadhuset FOOD & WINE
The location of the new open-air swimming-bath on the edge of Lake Åsunden is breathtakingly beautiful. The bathing hut is built on piles 100 meters out into the lake. Along the shore you can take a walk on the promenade and the city center is not far.
The bathing hut also incorporates a restaurant which is bright and peaceful. Here you can enjoy a lovely meal while you admire the view of the lake. Here the permeating attitude is service with personality. In the restaurant food cooked from locally produced ingredients is served and on the menu you find excellent dishes according to season.
