In Sweden we have the right to spend time in nature. We call this The Right to Roam. It means that we’re allowed to wander freely in forests and fields, pick mushrooms, wild flowers and berries that aren’t protected species.

Be considerate to landowners and other people, animals and plants. Make a fire only at prepared sites, don’t use growing trees or bushes for firewood. Take all your rubbish home. Do bring the dog, but keep it on a leash. No cross-country vehicles. Follow the markings and don’t take any shortcuts across fields or other private land.
