See Vänersborgs Museum which boasts the oldest preserved museum environment. In contrast to this we have the modern Saab Automobile Museum. Later maybe a visit to Innovatum Science Center or the Royal Hunt Museum? In addition we have the beautiful countryside of Halle- and Hunneberg, the spectacular Trollhättan Waterfalls and much much more.

Here you'll find everything from the small picturesque Doll Museum in Vänersborgs oldest house to the modern and popular Saab Museum. Welcome to experience the variety.
The Trollhättan Waterfalls
Witness the power of 300,000 liters of water per second rushing by.
Every Saturday at 15.00 (3 pm) during May, June and September.
Daily at 15.00 (3 pm) during July and August.
The Trollhättan Locks area
The beautiful Locks system, dated from 1800, 1844 and 1916, offer not only an impressive sight of boats maneuvering up and down the locks but also a park, a pleasant café and the Canal Museum.

Our area offers plenty of beautiful and varied scenery. This means that there is much to see and do in our area. Why not visit the Ecopark Halle- and Hunneberg on your own or go on an exciting Elksafari
Aqua Blue, 8-10 of June
The big water and music festival in Vänersborg where you can try hundreds of different activites as well as visit the boat show or participate in the beach volleyball competition.
The Waterfall Days, 20-22 of July
One of the oldest and largest cityfestivals in Sweden. A market in the city center and many concerts on different stages around the city and many other activites from early morning until late at night.
