Mounting biking

Imagine yourself on a mountain bike, off-road on a beautiful track in the Swedish forest. To rush down on a pine-needle rug with the forest just next to you is unbeatable. Everyone who has tried knows this! Mountain biking is a fantastic combination of action and a nature experience, at the speed of your choice. You can ride in dense forests or on bare flat rocks beside the ocean and suitable areas include the environs of Uddevalla, 1 hour north of Gothenburg on the west coast, a lap around Kinnekulle, located about 2 hours from Gothenburg at Sweden’s largest lake – Vänern. Another route is to go along the seaside at Ramsvik, a nature reserve located not too far from one of the best-known fishing villages on the Swedish west coast, Smögen, and on Valö, a beautiful island just outside the fishing village of Fjällbacka in Bohuslän.
