Cruise along the Bohuslän coast

Admire spectacular views as your journey from Gothenburg to Fjallbacka, the famous, picturesque setting of Camilla Läckberg's crime novels. You'll stay at exquisite spa hotels along the way, including the Marstrand Havshotell on the historic Marstrand island, renowned for its yachting culture, beautiful wooden architecture and Carlsten's Fortress. The four-day cruise with the company Kulturbåtarna, including full board, three nights' hotel accommodation in the Marstrands havshotell, Gullmarsstrands hotell and Smögens havsbad and numerous stops en route.

Day 1
Our journey begins in Gothenburg on the Monday morning, on board the vessel Svea, which was built in 1904. We sail up through Göta River towards Kungälv, where our first stop is for lunch at Restaurant Farshatt. After a satisfying meal, we continue through the beautiful Nordre älv towards Albreksund Canal and the island of Marstrand, where we check into Marstrand Havshotell in time for dinner.

Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, we sail through the narrow channel past Åstol, Dyrön Bleket, Klädesholmen, Hjärterösund, Skärhamn and Kyrkösund. We berth in Nösund where we have lunch at Nösunds Värdshus. After lunch, we continue towards Mollösund, Kråksundsgap, Hällevikstrand, Härmanö, and Gullholmen, to Ellös where we check into our hotel, Sjögården, where we also enjoy dinner with musical entertainment.

Day 3
Our journey continues through the famous marine channels Malöströmmar and Nordströmmarna. Via Bassholmen we reach the Gullmar Fjord and continue to Lysekil, where we have lunch at the aquarium Havets Hus. After lunch, we look around Lysekil before sailing out towards the nature reserve Stångehuvud and St Kornö. We pass Brofjorden and Bohusmalmön, Fisketången and Kungshamn, before finally reaching Smögen, where today's stage ends. We spend the night at Smögens Havsbad, where we also have dinner. The evening finishes with a stroll along the Smögen Pier.

Day 4
The final stage of our journey begins with a trip through the Sote Canal, past the villages of Hunnebostrand and Hamburgesund. In Fjällbacka, we have lunch at Stora Hotellet. We visit the gorge Kungsklyftan and Ingrid Bergman's Square before heading back to Gothenburg by coach.
