BLÅ TÅGET (Blue train), has daily departures between Gothenburg - Skövde (West Sweden) - Hallsberg - Stockholm - Uppsala. The train journey between Gothenburg and Stockholm takes only four hours.

BLÅ TÅGET offers a fast and comfortable journey with new engines and is environmentally friendly.
The coaches are classical 60s style – perfect for both leisure and business travel, including a restaurant coach which not only serves up good food, but also wine and beer. They have chefs onboard the train, cooking the food on the train. What's more, there's free Wifi.

Price examples: Gothenburg to Stockholm.

• Weekday: 900 SEK
• Weekend: 750 SEK (Saturday-Sunday)
• Groups: 750 SEK (4 or more, travelling at the same time)
• Pre booked ticket: 700 SEK (must be booked at least one week before departure, not rebookable or refundable.)

Travelling in Sweden

Sweden has an efficient transport system, with trains, buses and trams run by Västtrafik and SJ.
If you travel in Gothenburg, Västtrafik offers different tickets for a good price that can be bought at the central station or at Pressbyrån. It's also possible to buy tickets with a credit card or Swedish coins on trams across the city. If you prefer to travel further, train tickets can be bought online or at the central station.
