Lobster season
Lobster - the lobster season gets the autumn off to a flavoursome start on 26 September 2011. This is a period when fishermen and locals alike seek the ‘Black Gold’ from the depths of the west coast’s deep blue waters.

The Shellfish Journey
Take The Shellfish Journey and enjoy all of Bohuslän on a plate. Held from 24 September - 4 November, visitors will have Bohuslän almost to themselves at this time of year. Think of boat trips out at sea, immaculately laid tables, candlelight and being snug indoors.

An Oyster Experience
We head out to sea on the boat Tuffa; an open wooden boat, designed by the legendary boat builder Gösta Johansson, and built on Orust in 1952. The wind is fresh, the sun warms our faces, and in the cockpit we're served the locally produced crisp bread 'Grebbestad Tångknäcke' with cream cheese and hot coffee: – Ah, a perfect start for an oyster safari!
