Restaurang Fataburen
Fataburen is in the cellar-vaults of Läckö Castle, with its entrance from the inner castle yard. The first-class produce of the local area (among other things, specialities from Lake Vänern are served) combines with the castle garden’s own herbs, vegetables and root vegetables to create a symphony of flavours, which in the summer is also accompanied by opera performances just outside the gate.

is classified as a Biosphere reserve by
unesco. Being a biosphere reserve is an exciting
process where collaboration around sustainable
developement issues with local paricipation is key.
The process creates a valuable collective view of
the natural and cultural values in the landscape.
Drive north around the ring road (towards Kållandsö), follow signs for Läckö Castle. Park in the castle car park. Go in to the castle yard to restaurant Fataburen, or up to the castle mound where you’ll find Stallet on the right hand side.
