The conference rooms holds 15, 25, 90 and 120 persons. All conference rooms have access to whiteboard, OH, flipchart, pens and notebooks. Mineral water, fruit- and sweets bowls..
The hotel’s canteens can offer delicious food with apersonal touch. Often served with a west coast inspired menu. Our speciality is shellfish buffet. The hotel has full rights.
Accomodation
Björkö Hotel currently has 17 doubles with the possibility of singel housing. All rooms have separate shower and bathrooms. Four of the hotel rooms are allergy rehabilitated and the whole hotel is smokefree.
The youth hostel has 18 rooms with a total of 51 beds split into rooms with two, three- and four beds. There is common toilets, showers and a kitchen.
Björkö is together with Hönö, the largest of our islands but with far more
unexploited areas. The entire north has been exepted from buildings, since
the time it was a restricted military area.
In springtime, the hardwood forest is brightened by wood anemones, gageas,
cowslips and lilies of the valley.
At the Northeast point, ²Pjonken², you will find large areas of hepaticas,
which makes this place very popular for picnics in early spring. Around
Huvudet and Ryd, there are wonderful strolling areas with smooth cliffs as
well as open meadows and woods sheltering from the wind.
The islands has several swimming places of which Klarvik on the west side is
one of the more visited. However, the most popular place is by the fairway
Hälsö-Björkö where you can watch the never ending stream of boats, sun-bathe
and jump from the cliffs into the water.

you will easily reach our islands from
the centre of Gothenburg in half an hour, including the ferry trip. From
Lilla Varholmen (on Hisingen) the ferries to Björkö depart several times an hour. The crossing takes about 6 minutes and is free of charge.
