The Bäckefors Iron Works & Folk Museum

The Bäckefors Iron Works & Folk Museum

The Bäckefors Iron Works is the best reminder of the old fashion method used by iron works in Dalsland. There is a charcoal house, a mill, a sawmill, a ruin of a blacksmith´s shop and a folk museum, all running alongside the stream.

Guided tours are arranged the whole year.

Along road 172, turn at sign "Gamla Bruket" in Bäckefors.
