Lake Mjörn fishing
Lake Mjörn is a relatively large lake which many anglers reckon to be one of the best in the WestCoast region. It has more than 100 small islands and is a very varied habitat for fish. The lake has a fine stock of pike and perch, but trout, zander and burbot are also caught regularly. The record pike caught in the lake weighed about 20 kg. Another exciting sport is jigging for large smelt both in the summer (from a boat) or in the winter (from the ice). Boats can be hired at some places, ask the tourist information office at Nääs Manor.
