A stone church dating back to the Middle Ages. Its oldest part, as well as the sandstone font, date back to the early 13th century. Originally built as a farm church and defence church for slate-covered Ekholmen farm nearby. Extended in the 17th century. Unique Renaissance pulpit (1632). Altarpiece from 1740 by Isak Schullström, who also painted the pictures of the apostles on the front of the lectern. Ceiling paintings dating back to the 1780s by Anders Krook of Gunnarsnäs. The belltower is covered with local slate and relaid in 1981. The small bell of beehive shape dates back to the 13th century.
