Helénsstugan
In the heart of the town is an attractive little cottage known as Helénsstugan, which is the oldest residential building in the town and one of the few buildings dating back to the time before the great fire of 1759. The cottage was probably built during the first half of the 18th century and the reason for the "angled" location is quite simply the fact that it follows the medieval street network.
