Nordens Ark Zoo
Nordens Ark is a parkland refuge for some 80 endangered species from all around the world. It lies 20 km inland from the town of Smögen on the coast and just 114 km north of Gothenburg.
On the 3 km-long walkway around the lush parkland surroundings you can see and learn about wolves, snow leopards, Siberian tigers, as well as many birds, amphibians and Nordic species.
Nordens Ark zoo breeds and rears endangered and rare species of animals, as well as researching and running education programmes designed to spread knowledge about biodiversity, and help preserve endangered species.
Here you can see and learn about the biggest cat in the world, the Siberian tiger, as well as wolves, snow leopards, lynxes and lots of other fascinating animal species.
All the animals are here for one reason only – to be re-introduced into their natural environment to increase the population and save the species.
Hotell Nordens Ark
