The lakes of Smedsvattnet, Gråtåsvattnet and Metsjön are located at Herrestadsfjället, just north of Uddevalla. These beautifully located lakes are regularly restocked with rainbow trout and they provide some excellent fly-fishing and spinning. There is a jetty for anglers using a wheelchair at Pölevattnet. Fishing permits can be bought from automatic machines at Klämman, where there is also parking. The area also has picnic areas and toilets.

gasoline cards i.e. Shell.

Herrestadsfjället is situated 8 km west of Uddevalla. From Uddevalla head north on road 44, turn off towards Herrestadsfjället and follow the signposts. Klämman is 3 km from road 44.
