Vammerviken Camping, Gustavsfors

Small and quiet family camping located by the lake Västra Silen. The camping is beautiful situated in the nature surrounded by water, forest, arable and pastureland. The camping-guests have large spaces for their tent, caravan or camper. Here are also cosy cottages, for instance timbered cottages. All of the campsites and cottages have a nice view over the lake. There is a new community house (timbered house) with kitchen where you can cook and eat or relax and read a good book! We always have an ambition to keep the service-houses as clean and tidy as possible.


Vammerviken is a small place with approx. 8 households during wintertime. There is a lot of berries and mushrooms in the forest, and also moose, beaver, fox and many other wild animals and birds. There are tame animals as well, such as horse (big and small), sheep, goat, donkey and cows. There is a nice and hilly hiking trail from the camping along the lake to Gustavsfors (5 km). Approx. 300 m from the camping runs in July a cosy Café in an old homestead house from year 1690.

Vammervikens Camping is a family rend camping. There are 60 large campsites for tents, caravans, campers etc. with electricity. There are also six cabins (2 – 5 beds). In the service-house you can find WC, showers, washing-machine, drying cabinet and a kitchen. There is also kitchen and dining room in the community house. You can rent canoes, rowing boat and buy fishing-card. There are bath (beach) and good places for fishing, landing stage, launch ramp.
