    Ör church

    This church is made of stone. It was built in 1219 and extended in 1663. Font dating back to the 13th century. The top section is made of sandstone, and the lower section is made of soapstone. Red-painted belltower dating back to 1612. The small bell dates back to around 1200. Large, high Gothic triumphal crucifix with side figures, early 14th century, came to Ör from Skara Cathedral in around 1663. Picture of the Madonna dating back to around 1400. The pulpit was made by Isak Schullström in 1762. The altar was made by Nils Falk in 1737. Red vestments, a royal gift from King Karl XIV Johan in 1825. Tin candlesticks dating back to 1682. Commemorative plaque by poet Gunno Dahlstierna.
