Ekehagen Ancient Village is a visitor centre and outdoor museum about Sweden's oldest history: the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages.
Surrounded by a peaceful oak forest you'll find Stone Age dwellings, long houses with animals and fields from the Bronze Age, as well as an Iron Age farm with a smithy.
Experience what life was like in prehistoric times by taking part in our daily activities, going on a guided tour, or simply spending some time alone by the fireplace.
Several activity stations in the village every day! Taste the food from the cooking pit, try splitting flint or shooting with a bow and arrow, paddle a log boat, archaeology area for children, and more.
Herbal garden with a large range of plants. Some of these are used in the restaurant kitchen
