Less than a hundred years ago Falkängen was teeming with life and lots of people lived here.
The eight semidetached houses were inhabited by plenty of large families. Most of them earned their living at the factory nearby.
Today Falkängen is also teeming with activities. We now find a picturesque and beautiful arts and crafts village in a carefully remade factory envionment.
In the houses you will find bright and comfortable rooms that are let in cooperation with the STF Youth Hostel.

From road 44 turn left at sign "Källby, Kinnekulle". Follow this road straight on appr. 20 km. Turn left towards Hällekis. Falkängen is in the middle of the village on the right hand side.
