Åsgården is a hotel with seven cosy rooms, all with private shower and WC. You feel at home with our personal service and home-cooked meals. Quiet and relaxing environment. You can cycle in both directions along the canal and you can experience 8 locks by cycling towards the lake Vänern (7 km) and 11 locks in the other direction (7 km). You can also combine your bikeing with a boat-trip or an excursion by car.

Cycling along the Göta Canal is very pleasant. You cycle through beautiful sceneries and can experience the best of the canal. The road is not allowed for cars. You decide how far you bike. Below you can see some typical day runs:

- Hajstorp 7 km (11 locks)
- Töreboda 13 km (The Lina ferry)
- Wassbacken 22 km
- Tåtorp by the Lake Viken 28 km (the canal's highest point)
