Floating Hotel
Salt & Sill is proud of owning Sweden's first floating hotel. It offers visitors a peaceful environment with guaranteed sea views over Bohuslän's outer archipelago.
The hotel consists of six two-storey house that was built on floating pontoons. The decor in the rooms is characterized by modern Scandinavian simplicity with functional furnishings and unique details. Some rooms on the lower level has its own ladder right into the Skagerrak.
The hotel's roof is a large sun deck and it is ideal for relaxing in the sun or an outdoor dinner. There is also a jacuzzi with a stunning ocean view.
Moored by the hotel is a sauna boat, SS Silla. A catamaran with two floors with the sauna and relaxation area. The sauna boat can also be rented for overnight stays.
Adjacent to the hotel is our boathouse lounge. Here we have a vinothek which is always filled with good news for those who want to taste.
The main building houses Salt & Sill internationally recognized tavern.

From Gothenburg, E6 towards Oslo, exit towards Tjörn / Orust, go straight approx. 2 km ahead Tjörn bridge, turn left at red lights, follow this road (169) about 20 km until you reach Bleket in Tjörn. Drive through the village and take right at the sign with Klädesholmen. Immediately after the bridge turn right again. Salt & Sill is located on the right side, out on the pier on the island "Danmark" (enter Klädesholmen 1 on your GPS).
From Uddevalla, E6 towards Gothenburg, turn towards Tjörn / Orust and follow signs to Tjörn. After Tjörn bridge turn left at red lights, follow this road (169) approx. 20 km until you reach Bleket in Tjörn. Drive through the village and take right at Klädesholmen and Salt & Sill. Immediately after the bridge turn right again. Salt & Sill is located on the right side, out on the pier on the island "Danmark" (enter Klädesholmen 1 on your GPS).
From Henan, Orust - follow road 160 straight over Orust until you reach a crossroads with traffic lights, turn right. Continue on road 169, follow this road around. 20 km until you reach Bleket in Tjörn. Drive through the village and take right at the sign with Klädesholmen and Salt & Sill. Immediately after the bridge turn right again. Salt & Sill is located on the right side, out on the pier on the island "Danmark" (enter Klädesholmen 1 on your GPS).
