The Berget Orangerie, boutique

Welcome to the Berget Orangerie

Berget Orangerie is located at the foot of Kinnekulle in the parish of Forshem. Come and enjoy the unique farm environment and the preserved buildings. Visit the bakery and sense the history which fills the place. (Awarded Architectural Prize 2008)

The restaurant

The restaurant is housed in a lovely orangery with large windows, plaster walls and a beautiful limestone flooring from Kinnekulle. Newly planted vines and fragrant lemon trees enhance the surroundings. Here you can enjoy delicacies such as organic lamb & beef from our own farm, as well as other local produce. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy a cup of coffee, accompanied by our delicious sandwiches and cakes, served in the orangery or in the tranquil gardens.

Retail

The shop is located in our newly-built, light and spacious warehouse. If you glance upwards you will see the beautiful handmade beams, carved with "kings". We hope you will feel inspired by our shop, which is filled with carefully chosen items that are a blend of old and new and are handpicked from Sweden, Denmark, England and France, including the famous Tolix-chair.

process where collaboration around sustainable
developement issues with local paricipation is key.

29 Oct-11 Dec - Sat and Sun 12:00 to 17:00
We always recommend that you reserve a table (reservations are not required for the café).
