Karingo Oysters bar
Located 100km from Gothenburg on the archipelago island of Karingön, in the Bohuslän archipelago, Karingo can be reached from the city by car, boat or helicopter for an indulgent gourmet experience. As well as being able to enjoy oysters with champagne in the wood-stove heated hot tub, visitors can learn more about the cultivation of the oysters through presentations and stay overnight in a selection of stylish accommodation ranging from converted fishing cottages and boat houses to lofts and an island lighthouse. A number of additional activities can be arranged during a stay including fishing tours, boat charters and RIB tours while Karingo can also be used as a venue for weddings. Karingo can be easily reached by car from Gothenburg by taking the main E6 road north and then taking the 160 and 178 onto Orust Island. After following signs to Hällevikstrand, a ferry from here to Karingo takes 20 minutes.
