Many people claim that the oysters from Grebbestad are the very best. If you're interested in learning more about them, we offer oyster courses and oyster tastings with one or two nights' accommodation. We also offer oyster tastings without an overnight stay.
You can always combine an oyster tasting with some of our other activities, so take the chanse and taste maybe the best oysters in the world!
Oyster tasting & oyster opening course
We have or Oyster Opening Courses in our genuine boat "Tuffa" or in our boathouse that was built in the nineteenth century. During the day you get to learn about the oysters, how to open them in a safe way, and after that you can enjoy them with a porter. An oyster tasting with an oyster opening course takes about 2 hours.
A small oyster tasting in combination with some of our other activities. We show you how to open an oyster and tell you about our oysters here in Grebbestad. You enjoy your oysters together with Carnegie Porter.
