Seal Safari with M/S Sara

Seal Safari with M/S Sara

Join us on a 3-hour trip to look at seals, on comfortable and spacious M/S Sara. The tour departs from the island Resö, and continues out into Kosterhavet National Park. We head for the seal colony, where there are usually hundreds of seals. During the trip, you get to know more about the harbour seals, which is also the county animal of Bohuslän. We approach at a low speed, as the curious seals like to swim around the boat. In the early part of the summer, you get to see the cute seal pups as well.

Opening hours

The tour lasts from 17.00 until 20.00 and will be run if there are at least 10 participants. Coffee is included and lighter snacks can be purchased on board

Directions

The trip departs from Resö Harbour, which is the southern entrance to Kosterhavet National Park. The island of Resö is in the north of Bohuslän, about 10 kilometres north of Tanum and 20 kilometres south of Strömstad, and is connected to the mainland by a bridge.

By car: Turn off the E6 by sign for Resö and follow this road until it ends after about 10 kilometres. You've then reached Resö Harbour. Alternatively, travel by bus, see www.vasttrafik.se. Resö also has a nice guest harbour for anyone who arrives by boat.
