Image and Media Bank of The West Sweden Tourism Board

Welcome to the Digital Image and Media database (The Image Bank) of the West Sweden Tourism Board, which is intended for editorial use by the press, to provide information about Bohuslän, Dalsland and Västergötland within the context of the travel and tourism industry. The images and films in the Image Bank illustrate the contrasts within the region and what it has to offer in terms of nature, culture, activities, events, sights and food experiences.

The Image Bank is intended for professional users within tourism, media and other information-based industries, to market the range of tourism services available in West Sweden in publications, on websites, and in social media (editorial use). It is also available to holiday companies (resorts, hotels, restaurants etc.) and travel agencies in their marketing of West Sweden as a destination.

Apart from images, the Image Bank also contains filmed material from the West of Sweden for professional use. This material is intended for use by Scandinavian and international production companies and television networks to promote tourism in the region. Low-resolution samples of filmed materials are available on YouTube and Vimeo. See examples at: Västsvenska Turistfilmer >>

The Image Bank is new and will be updated on an on-going basis. You are welcome to use the images in the Image Bank free of charge, as long as this is in accordance with our current Terms of Use for the Image Bank.
