Public transport in West Sweden
Västtrafik is a public transport company in Western Sweden responsible for public transport services involving buses, trams, ferries and trains in the County of Västra Götaland (with the exception of some long-distance express coach routes and the X-2000 train).

National bus services
There is an excellent network of express services between the larger towns and cities in south and central Sweden. The largest bus operator is Swebus Express, which has 300 destinations throughout the country. Children under 6 travel free, if accompanied by an adult, while young people under 25, students with a valid student card (CSN, SFS or ISIC) and senior citizens have a 30% discount.

To/From the airports
Gothenburg (Landvetter) Airport: Buses operate from Landvetter Airport to the Central Station (Nils Ericson Terminal) in Gothenburg every 15 min at peak times and twice hourly for the rest of the day.
Departures from Landvetter from 5am till 12 midnight and from Nils Ericson Terminal from 4.30 am till 11.15 pm.
Journey time is 30 min.
Gothenburg (Säve) Airport: Buses connect with all Ryanair arrivals/ departures from and to Gothenburg Central Station (Nils Ericson Terminal).
