Travelling in the South Bohuslän

Travel fast or slowly, in your own vehicle or with others. Car, train or bus. It’s your choice how you get to the South Bohuslän, which is only 30 minutes from Gothenburg and Uddevalla. Once you’re on the South Bohuslän there are good communications all the way out to the islands with no connection with the mainland, to which the ferries go all year round.

This is how to reach the islands:

* From Rönnäng on the island of Tjörn the ferry departs for Dyrön, Åstol and Tjörnekalv.
* From Kyrkesund on Tjörn you can reach Härön by a short ferry journey on S:t Olof
* From Hälleviksstrand on Orust you catch the ferry to Käringön
* From Tuvesvik on Orust there are ferries to Hermanö and Gullholmen
