Kinnekulle hiking trail
This 45 kilometer (27.9 mile) long hiking trail on Kinnekulle takes about two days to complete. The path, which offers a lot of variety, goes along both the west and east sides of Kinnekulle. Shelters for overnight stays are available in a few locations. The route is marked with orange posts. A trail folder containing a map and other information on sights along the way is available.

Husaby Church, Kinnekulle
Husaby is swedish history. Olof Skötkonung was christened by the english munk Sigfrid in the year 1000 at Husaby well. He became the fírst christian king of Sweden.

Forshems Church, Kinnekulle
The only grave church in Scandinavia. It has also worked as a pilgrim church. The church is manly known for its six stonereliefs from year 1000, today mounted in the church.

The narrowgauge system in Västergötland was overtaken by SJ on the 1st of july 1948 and a few years later the closures started. But in the summertime you can still go on a ride with a "real" train, between Lundsbrunn and Skara.
