Bengtsfors

Bathing place at the southern end of Lake Lelång in Bengtsfors

Centrally located swimming area with sandy beach, large green area adjacent to the skate park and boule course.

Lake Lelång is a clear lake and its deepest parts are in the middle just south of Gustavsfors. The deepest point reaches 61 metres. Most of the shoreline is rocky, offering a barren wilderness character comprising forest, mountain and beautiful nature. The Skarsdalsbergen Nature Preserve is on the east side some kilometres north of Bengtsfors.

From here, there start also the walking path to Bengtsfors town center or the Nordleden. The swimming area is close to the tourist office, shop with kiosk goods and toilett. The center of Bengtsfors is about 500 m away.

At the beach Sågudden there are:

  • Easy access for wheelchair
  • Evening sun
