Imaginative wall paintings
Extensive restoration of the beautiful country style room at Lästviks Säteri & Galleri has been carried out with the support of the National Heritage Board. In 1858 the village painter C. F. Pagander decorated the room from ceiling to floor with a very imaginative castle landscape, a strange lock building and two Swedish kings in historic situations.
Art gallery in traditional setting
You can enjoy art in a rather grand cultural setting at Lästviks Galleri. In the gallery, works by many different craftsmen and artists are displayed and sold. They include jewellery in silver and glass, paintings in acrylic and oil and handicrafts in ceramics, glass, textiles and metals.
