Lisebergshallen is next to the main entrance of the Liseberg Amusement Park in Gothenburg. The stage can change its shape and adapt to each individual event, and there is space for more than 3,000 guests. Lisebergshallen can cater for concerts, theatre and comedy performances and sports events - in fact, almost everything is possible!
From concerts to sports events
Lisebergshallen is a multi-arena for all sorts of entertainment and sports. Competitions have been held here since the beginning of the 1980s, sometimes in sweaty gym shoes, sometimes in fashionable high heels. It was here that the Herrey brothers won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1984 in their golden shoes. This is also where Redbergslid, Sweden's most successful handball club ever, won many of their Swedish championships. Over the years, Lisebergshallen has hosted galas and TV broadcasts, trade fairs, exhibitions and annual general meetings, as well as many large concerts.
