A thriving works museum

Forsviks Bruk is a living museum where you can follow work at Forsviks shipyard, smithy and mill. The old foundry is now an exciting location for theatre and music, while the other buildings are home to exhibitions, courses, conference activities and more.

People and models

Forsviks Bruk in Forsvik, West Sweden has a history of 600 years as part of the Swedish industrial cradle. The exhibitions include a selection of the thousands of wooden patterns that have been preserved from the foundry.

Voyage of discovery with an expert guide

If you want to get more out of your visit, the best idea is to join an expert guide who can explain many details of work at the works. When you need a break and refreshments, sit down in the grass and enjoy your picnic with a lovely view over lake Viken. Don’t worry if you forgot your picnic basket at home - just drop in at Kafé Ada in the old miller's house.
