Kollängen Hostel is a complete farmhouse dating from the 18th century. You can cook your own food in the shared kitchen and if you’d like to have a barbecue, you can borrow a grille in the garden. If you’d rather not make your own breakfast, you can order it at the hostel. During the day you can rent a bike or a Vespa, which is perfect for a tour of the area.
Lovely countryside full of possibilities
Kollängen Hostel is in a scenic area with lots of good options for excursions by bike or Vespa. Go on a day trip to lake Vänern, take a picnic basket and enjoy sunbathing and swimming, see Kinnekulle from the saddle or visit Blomberg harbour and the Viking ship, Sigrid Storråda. Kinnekulle is a flat-topped mountain which has many footpaths and cultural landmarks, as well as golf courses and a ski slope, all within cycling distance from the hostel.
