From Kaserna on the shore of lake Vassbotten you can paddle along the waterways into Dalsland. The nature is beautiful and varied and the journey goes through historical environments, beautiful landscapes and strident wilderness. The water trail from Östersjön to Vassbotten was used until 1965 as a waterway for timber to the papermaking at the mill in Munkedal. Hence the name Flottarleden. The journey goes on in sometimes wild and quiet nature areas as well as more friendly environments.
