B&B and farm whose origins go back to 1652

The old family farm Lekanders Bär & Boende has its origins way back in 1652, and offers a variety of accommodation types. Choose between double rooms, family rooms and economy rooms, all with breakfast included, and your own self-catering apartment. On the farm itself you can also rent a small red house with a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting room, two bedrooms with four beds, and an attic with single beds as well as a double bed. Bathroom, shower and washing machine, a private balcony, garden and patio. Breakfast includes home-baked bread, uncooked strawberry preserve, and fruit salad.

Nature activities and berry-picking

A beach and a golf course are easily reached, three kilometres from the farm. If you are interested in culture and shopping it isn’t far to Tjörn’s main town, Skärhamn, with Nordiska Akvarellmuseet, art galleries and plenty of shops. Book an archipelago safari, or visit the always-inspirational sculpture park at Pilane. And why not try Åstols Rökeri’s famous smoked shrimps?

During the summer season you are welcome to Lekander’s berry plantations to pick strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants, as well as majestic sunflowers from the fields. You can also rent a bike and pedal your way round the island.
