Best location for the flavours of Bohuslän

The Tjörn bridge, only 40 minutes from Gothenburg, is a passage to the lovely island of Dyrön and to Trålverket. Dyrön is part of the Tjörn archipelago and you arrive here by the Hakefjord ferry from the jetty in Rönnäng. Sit down in one of the restaurant's fine patios, either in the sheltered courtyard or with views over Nordhamnen on Dyrön. Enjoy the wonderful flavours of Bohuslän – seafood, classic Swedish bouillabaisse with local ingredients, as well as pizza, coffee and cakes or ice cream.

Trålverket offers catering and arrangements for groups of 10-75 people, such as weddings, parties and conferences. Overnight stays, boat trips and other activities can also be arranged.

The romantic history of Trålverket

The building was once a workshop for fishing nets and trawler gear that has been moved from the quayside in Rönnäng. Tobias and Johanna are the young owners who have managed to create a welcoming, open-hearted atmosphere in their homely restaurant. The couple met for the first time in summer 2008 at Dyrö Krog as the restaurant was called at the time, when he was a cook and she was a waitress.

Walk around the beautiful island of Dyrön

Stroll around Dyrön on the lovely 5-kilometre footpath Dyröleden. There are beautiful views of Åstol and the Marstrand fortress to take in before stopping at the Dyrön sauna (don’t forget to book in advance). You can then have an "after walk” at Trålverket – either coffee and cakes, lunch or dinner.

Directions

You can get to Dyrön on a lovely sea crossing. Take a Västtrafik ferry from Rönnäng or Rökan. Trålverket is right next to the quay in Norrhamnen on Dyrön, just a few steps west of the ferry terminal from Rönnäng. If you arrive on your own boat, the guest harbour is only a stone’s throw away.
